"Sushi in the City", Square Meal |
|
With its urbane buzz & attractive, if simple decor, the Andaz hotel's smart little bento box of a Japanese restaurant reminds fans not of Tokyo, but of New York: a place for health-conscious financial sector types to chow down on wholesome yet sophisticated raw protein while bemoaning the state of the markets. Culinary compensation for the FTSE's woes comes in the form of turbot or octopus sashimi, tobiko, & quail egg nigiri or hand-rolled toro & avocado sushi. There are bento boxes aplenty at lunchtime & hot teriyaki, gyoza or yakitori dishes in the evening.
The City of London's only Sushi restaurant offering take-outs.
